Sawdust Bear Makes Things

These are some props that I constructed for a production of Love/Water, a play staged by Ensemble Studio Theatre and Open Fist Theatre in LA. I worked with the scenic and costume designers to create large scale props that integrated into the show’s style.

These pictures are from my scenic design of The Last Five Years, which I designed in grad school. I had pretty much no budget to speak of,but it worked out really well.  My point of pride is still, and will probably always be making the “clock” lighting gobos myself.
