The Omega 1 Spacepod

The Omega 1 Spacepod is a tiny, “fully functional” spacepod, intended to be parked in odd, inhospitable, otherworldly conditions.

Crew:
Jason Bender : Captain, carpenter, scavenger of parts, logistics, zip-tier-in-chief
Scott Keeler : Master carpenter, maintaining structural integrity, chief problem solver, painter.
Shing Khor : Drafting, design + lighting for interior walls, paint, carpentry, anything requiring tiny hands.

Support Crew:
Tim Williams: painter, graphic design.
Brian Heins: painter, scavenger of old lite brites.

The Spacepod was installed at Burning Man in 2008 (Wheel and 8:30) and 2009 (3rd and Esplanade), where it served as a great place to hide from duststorms, and as a hotbox.
