The Strange Little Bear project originated out of a summer in Vermont spent with discarded fabric scraps and lots of time. It was fleshed out further in graduate school and soon became a series of mixed media stuffed animals centered on the reuse of hand felted wool sweaters.
A few of the bears have been in plush art shows such as Morphe 2 and Crammed Organisms.
