Drug Uses
Albuterol is a sympathomimetic bronchodilator. It is used for healing of breathing problems in people who have asthma or certain other airway diseases. It can also be used for other conditions as determined by your physician.
How Taken
Albuterol should be taken with or without a meal. Albuterol works for up to 8 hours or longer. Don't stop using this drug or change the recommended dosage without your physician`s approval. Ask your physician regarding the dosage suitable for your situation.

Albuterol may cause dizziness or lightheadedness.
These effects may worsen if Albuterol is taken with
alcohol. Use Albuterol with caution. Do not drive or perform
other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how
you respond to this medication. If your
symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor.
If your usual dosage does not work well,
your symptoms become worse, or you need to use it more often
than usually, call your doctor
at once. This can be a sign of seriously worsening
asthma. Your doctor may need to change
your dosage or drug. Albuterol should be used only by the
patient for whom it has been suggested. Don't take less or
more or take it more often than suggested by your doctor.
