Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other conditions as prescribed by your physician.
How Taken
Take Anafranil as pre-scripted by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with food intake. It may take 2 - 3 weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel well.
Additional Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, call your physician. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Don't take less or more or take it more often than directed by your doctor.
