working on large specimens

I really should post more work in progress, so here’s a slug-thing, pre painting. I’m working on some larger specimens – and they are so much fun! I didn’t know why I didn’t start just making them bigger sooner.

I also made an order for some taxidermy eyes…I think I’m going to be switching to using glass eyes soon because they look so cool.

“We found some of Charles Ellis’ notes on this specimen, which read: “This specimen was separated at birth, however it merged into its current form before reaching adulthood”.

We assume that this means that Specimen No 75(we nicknamed him Bunker) was once two specimens, however it’s just too much of a headache to keep track of things like that.

For all intents and purposes, we consider Specimen No. 75 to be one specimen.”
